If the event for which payments were made is cancelled due to circumstances beyond FEDERATION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION’s control, such as force majeure events, government directives, riots, fires, strikes, curfews, pandemics, etc.
For participants who have paid participation fees, cancellation is allowed if the withdrawal is communicated at least 15 days before the event date.
No fees or amounts, including participation fees, membership fees, sponsorships, etc., will be refunded in other circumstances.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
8.1. Any disputes, claims, issues, differences, or questions of any kind that may arise between the parties in connection with these terms and conditions or their interpretation, validity, performance, breach, or termination shall be resolved through arbitration by a sole arbitrator in accordance with the rules of the Indian Council of Arbitration, New Delhi. The resulting award shall be binding on both parties.
8.2. Arbitration proceedings will take place in New Delhi, India, and will be conducted in English, in accordance with Indian laws, including the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The arbitration proceedings and the resulting award must be filed in courts with territorial jurisdiction over New Delhi.
8.3. These terms and conditions, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties, shall be construed and governed by Indian laws.
9. FEDERATION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION reserves the right to modify, supplement, or amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion, by updating this page.
